“Sammilit" conducted by Indian autism center, 2020

A two-month art therapy project engaged around 40 special needs children from four different schools, ages 3 to 15 years old. This project was led by a Trained art therapist and five artists, including me, as a collective. The ASD kids came from both privileged and underprivileged backgrounds. The project focused on their abilities, receptivity, and collaboration. The process of activating the sense was more important than the outcome. The final outcome was displayed at Amity University, Kolkata, India
Some tiny sunshines,
they were playing with their senses
to draw the smell,
transcending every boundaries to touch the air,
leaving enigmatic essences behind
without fear.
Perhaps,
there,
we experienced a rhymes of body together…
